Where To Host A Campaign: Website or Subdomain

Updated over a week ago

Before submitting the JIRA ticket to kick off a new Engagement Campaign, you will need to determine where the campaign will live when it's time to publish and make it public.

Campaigns can be hosted on either your existing website, or on a dedicated subdomain for an additional cost. Details for each of these options are below.

Venue, Festival or Regional Website

Campaigns can be placed on any of our existing AEG hosted websites for no additional cost. The campaign can be embedded on a new or existing page on the site, and accessed via a URL of your choosing.

Venue, Festival or Regional Website Examples

  • goldenvoice.com/campaignname

  • electricforest.com/wishmachine

You will provide the page and URL for your campaign in the initial Jira ticket submission when kicking off a Campaign, and then follow up with an embed code once the Campaign is Approved.

Custom Subdomain

Campaigns can be published to a dedicated custom subdomain on your festival, venue or regional URL for an additional cost of $100 per subdomain, per year.

Custom Subdomain Examples

  • entry.stagecoachfestival.com

  • wish.electricforest.com

  • jacksonvillegiveaway.kanebrownlive.com

The setup of a dedicated subdomain and it's SSL Certificate requires a couple of days - plan for this when building and working towards a Campaign's launch.

You will provide the desired subdomain for your campaign in the initial Jira ticket submission when kicking off a Campaign and then follow up with an embed code once the Campaign is Approved.

Note: Subdomains are renewed annually, with each year incurring an additional $100 cost. Be sure to set an annual reminder to contact the Product Team to renew or keep a subdomain if desired.
